The ICON STYLISTS story begins back in the early '80s when a very young JAL CLARKE began his career in hairdressing,
working alongside some of the giants of today. After a 3 year extensive Sassoons training and working in the very underground
salons of Covent Garden, JAL soon began to master the very creative and technical techniques he uses today. Working on films,
TV series and in theatres became his passion. Opening ICON STYLISTS with his wife NICKY CLARKE has been an exciting
project for this dynamic couple. NICKY, who is ICONS extension specialist, says that leaving the city for a more tranquil
outlook by the sea has given them both new focus and energy to continue being at the forefront of modern hair design.
